Daniel Spivak: “This coming up season i am preparing to play a regular role with the team, and lead it to an NCAA Tournament”

Daniel Spivak – the Israel National team player. We know him following by perfect games which we saw on the IIHF World Championships and Jewish World Championships where we had a chance to meet Daniel in Israel.

 

Daniel Spivak: “I was born in Natanya August 9th 1988... I started to play hockey at the age of five and then immigrated to Canada, where continue to play (Greater Toronto Area) just basic house league hockey to get started. I have been with the Israel team since The championship in Serbia till present day. Last Season i received a scholarship to Rochester Institute of Technology (R.I.T) Tigers Division One NCAA Hockey. My first season their was a great experience at a higher level than i was used to. This coming up season i am preparing to play a regular role with the team, and lead it to an NCAA Tournament.”

Daniel Spivak, who recently completed a successful rookie season with the Division I RIT men’s hockey team, was selected to play for the Israeli National Team, as they competed in the Division II International Ice Hockey Federation World Championships from April 7 – April 13 in Novi Sad, Serbia. Although the Isreali National team finished 1-4, it was an excellent 10 days of travel and hockey for Spivak, a native of Thornhill, Ontario. In Israel’s final contest against Iceland on April 13, Spivak was named his team’s most outstanding player. He led all Israeli defensemen and was tied for eighth overall among blue-liners with a goal and two assists for three points during the Championships…”
