RFI regarding Olympic Hockey Rink in Jerusalem

RFI regarding Olympic Hockey Rink in Jerusalem

Dear Sir/Madam,

In the coming year, the city of Jerusalem will host a variety of athletic events, including the Maccabia Games and Ice Hockey Championship games.

Teams from around the globe will travel to Jerusalem for the championship games.  After the games, once the various guests have returned to their home countries, we believe that the ice rink will be able to serve as a recreational rink for ice and figure skating.

The rink will be established at the "Arena Pais" Hall in Jerusalem, a modern enclosed arena with seating for up to 11,200 spectators.

The arena hosts Euro-cup basketball and various league games as well as musical performances, conventions and more. The rink will be installed upon a concrete floor, (with the basketball parquet removed). The required rink must be modular, such that it shall be possible to remove it in order to use the arena for performances or other athletic events, or change its size, and then to easily set it up once more when the arena is available for recreational ice skating or hockey events.

This project is paramount to the city of Jerusalem, on a national and international level, and accordingly we are reaching out to a select number of potential parties who may be able to provide us with the complete or complementary technical solutions as described briefly above and in further detail in the attached RFI.

For your convenience, attached hereto is an RFI together with plans of the arena.  For further details, please feel free to contact This email address is being protected from spambots.
