Roy Aharonovich has made his NCAA college commitment to Neumann University in Aston, PA.

Roy is the first Israeli player to make it from Israeli Hockey to NCAA !

Roy started hockey when he was 8 years old in the Rishon Devils Hockey Club in his hometown Rishon Le-Zion and when he was 16 years old,
joined the Israel U18 National Team.

At the age of 17, Roy moved to Play hockey in a Prep high School in Burlington Vermont USA.
After graduating from high school he moved to play Junior Hockey in the USA for the Billings Bulls in the NA3HL League.
Roy started the last season in EHL with the New-York Apple Core, but after an injury, he had a surgery in his finger and moved to play for the Chicago Cougars in the
USPHL League.

His Head Coach, Brad Soffers wrote: “The 20 year old came to the Cougars from the NY Apple Core in the EHL on November 1st and made an immediate impact to the
roster adding speed up front with playmaking ability and a scoring touch, finishing the season on the top line for the Cougars during their playoff run and finishing the
season with 36 Points in 33 Games on 15 Goals and 21 Assists.
Roy was someone I really liked when I saw him play last Summer, we went different directions for a couple months, but ultimately landed Roy in a Cougars jersey and he was a standout from day one in Chicago. He is a great person and a player with tremendous upside in the game. I am very proud of Roy's accomplish to earn an NCAA hockey opportunity and wish him the best in his college career “.
